Cloontuskert National School is a co-educational, catholic primary school under the patronage of the Bishop Of Elphin. We operate under Department of Education and Skills guidelines and curricular content. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, happy, child centred school.
In our school community we aspire to promote a structured caring and nurturing environment where each child is encouraged and motivated academically, socially, and spiritually to become a responsible happy individual and reach their full potential. This environment is created by encouraging mutual respect and tolerance, by the attention given to each child in our care, by identifying children’s individual needs, by encouraging our pupils to learn at their own pace and through close home-school cooperation.
