Parents - The primary educators.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

A very warm welcome to Scoil na Mainistreach, Cloontuskert. We hope that your child will be extremely happy here.

Our school is a happy and safe place where every child matters. Parents have always been very active in the life of our school and work in close partnership with our staff to ensure all pupils have positive experiences of school. We have a wonderful staff and you can be assured of our full co-operation and commitment at all times. Without your support we cannot succeed so we look forward to working with you in the interest of your child's all round learning and personal development.

Should you have any query or concerns at any time please feel free to come and talk to us.

Le gach dea-ghuí,

Padraig Connerton

A HUGE THANK YOU TO PARENTS

Throughout the school year there have been times when you the parents have been asked to get involved in school activities, be it helping out on special occasions, making teas, helping with fundraisers, assisting the teachers and Board of Management, whatever way you have helped once again it is greatly appreciated. Parental support and involvement is of great importance to us in our school.

We cannot say enough about the amount of hard work that was put into tidying up our school. To the parents and family members who came out and gave their time towards improving our school we really are very grateful. From weeding, sweeping, strimming, cutting grass, painting, cleaning, tidying the list goes on. It has not gone unnoticed and the pupils have a real sense of pride in their school. We really are very very thankful. Not only have you shown such commitment and dedication to supporting your child’s school but have also helped with keeping costs to a minimum for the school. Cloontuskert National School is a very busy place and to know that parents are willing to help out doesn’t just lighten the load but shows the pupils the whole school community working together for the best interests of our school.

Ní neart go cur le chéile!

 (There’s no strength without unity).

OUR SCHOOL YARD LOOKS FANTASTIC

A huge thank you to all those who helped to paint up the markings on the playground. It looks fantastic and we hope the children will get hours of fun playing the different playground games. Thanks again.
