It was a day of mixed emotions for the pupils of Sixth class today as they spent their final day in Cloontuskert NS. Excited to be getting the holidays but upset to be moving on to the next stage of their education. We wish them well. Also to the families who have now finished in Cloontuskert NS, we thank you all for the support you have shown the school over the years and wish you all well in the future.

A great day was had by all at our recent Green School Flag Raising Ceremony. The school was awarded the latest green flag for Biodiversity and it was very clear as visitors were taking around the Biodiversity trail how much work went into achieving this award. Well done to our fantastic Biodiversity Committee, the staff, Board of Management, parents and of course the local Tidy Towns Committee. Thanks also to Roscommon GAA legend who did the honours on the day and raised the flag. To see more about our project click here
