Big thanks to everyone who supported our cake sale yesterday. There was a great array of goodies on sale. Thanks again to the committee who organised it all and to those who supplied the delicious cakes.
The annual cake sale will take place in Ballyleague Hall this coming weekend after Mass. There will be plenty of delicious goodies on sale so pop in and pick up a treat for yourself! Congratulations to our quiz team who represented Cloontuskert NS at the library quiz in Strokestown on Tuesday evening. The team did the school proud coming a very close second, with only a few points between them and the winning team. Our team will go on to the final which will take place in Roscommon next week. We wish them well.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, contributing their own knowledge of the plants and animals which are found in the bogs. Read more here…. ![]() As part School Self Evaluation we are focusing on the language of problem solving in maths this year. Pupils are now taking part in weekly lessons based on identifying keywords used in problems, which then helps them decide which operation (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) they need to use. |
